Has anyone ever had a problem getting a job during an IVA?
I've registered with a recruitment agency to look for a new today and I had to disclose on the registration form that I have an IVA. And now I'm worried that it's going to damage my chances of getting any interviews.

Unless it is a job in finance I'm not sure why it would hinder your prospects. I didn't realise you had to disclose it on a registration form with an agency though to be honest. Does the potential employer see this form?

I'm not sure, I'm assuming not as it was purely a form to register with the agency. I do work in finance which is why I was concerned. The agency has still registered me and put me forward for a role today, so fingeres crossed for a positive outcome.

I really question why a recruitment agency need to know this information .... I can understand employers who undertake a credit check once vacancy has been offered, especially in a fiancial role, but i really feel to disclose this on a general introduction form is an invasion of privacy. I would ask for clarification as to why and what purpose ... I would also ask if potential employees see the form.
