Did most of our present buying last night at tesco. Had £102 of clubcard vouchers. Got £120 worth of clothes for £60 of vouchers and a vtech ipad thingy for my niece that was £59-99 for £30 of vouchers. Effectively we paid nothing for any of it.
Total bill was £302, multibuy savings of £20 then 180 off with the vouchers.
Still got a few poubd of vouchers left snd a 60 off a 110 shop (use that when we go in for the turkey etc etc).
It was fab. Glad we kept most of our clubcard vouchers for the year.
Merry Xmas folks!

Great bargains you got there, I only ever get sent £5. worth of clubcard vouchers each time, even though we shop loads there must be cos we are only 2 of us and do not have huge shopping bills. Our average spend is probably around £30 LOL

I rarely shop at Tesco so I only get a couple of quid so I have them converted to air miles. Not that I'll get very far on them!

I don't have a local Tesco either so sometimes manage a £1 or two but very often when the statement comes nothing...from the sounds of this though it would appear it is worth shopping there.

I use tesco for fuel and as a perk use my clubcard for filling the work vehicle which boosts the points.
Got the rest of the stuff yesterday, mostly bought with cash from our savings account.
Need to save up now for a new 3 piece suite. Ours is 13 years old. Its lasted well. We may try for interest free credit come may when credit files clear up (although the plan is to save up a decent amount anyway, in case we get refused credit).

The new year approaching and I would love a new/fresh car, cleaning up credit files as I type but really scared to think about credit...however, I think needs must, we'll see!
Hope you get your new 3 piece

I'm still wary about Tesco fuel as I got caught out when they had the contaminated fuel years ago - it cost me £500 just after I had gone BR!
I work next to a BP so I fill up there - I can't be bothered to drive further to fill up!

I did the same with my Tesco clubcard vouchers, and got everything my little boy has asked for and it only cost me £27.[:)]
A tip for anyone who doesn't know, as this is how I managed to save up more clubcard vouchers this year is by using the TopCashBack website.
They allow you not olny to get cash back, but you have the option of coverting into Amazon, Clubcard, Boots, Argos, Toys R Us, Debenhams, M&S gift vouchers instead and if you choose that option they increae the amount by 5-10%

Me too, i had to renew our phones in the house and as my soon to be hubby is deaf we have to have a number of them, so got a quad set for £15 originally £77 but used some of our vouchers. Spent the rest on food and on joints of meat that have been halved so four meals for the four of us. Still love looking for bargains and even tho i'm out of my IVA still very careful about shopping and i now find myself asking the question if i dont need it dont buy it.
