Four years ago today my godmother passed away suddenly ....alright eight hours before but the suddenly gone.
Little did I know at this stage what it meant to me .... Four years on I am truly honoured to have had such a generous and kind hearted lady in my life as my godmother.
Her generosity helped us to end our IVA early and to re-build our lives ... I learnt so many lessons during our IVA that to this day remain with me, it was a huge challenge that we were able to overcome, new budgeting skills, greater awareness of the cost of living and a much bigger appreciation of how much family and friends meant to us.
Today I am ready to approach the cemetery for the first time to read the book of remembrance and to arrange a memorial that will constantly remind me of a truly inspirational lady that I owe so much too.

Difficult day but faced the challenge and spent time sat thinking about the journey since 2009 .... Kind of proud of the way things have turned around !
On the flip side of yesterday it was my brother in laws 50th birthday and I cooked curries from scratch for dinner, samosas and onion bhajee's .... Very nice they were too !
