My existing contract is almost up (not Vodafone) so I trawled the interweb for the best deals, not having any loyalty to one company. Decided on a phone and package on the Vodafone site and went through all the contract 'stuff'. Came back "we can not offer you a pay monthly contract at this time"message, the url included a /credit_check_denied/ in it's sytax. All my defaults are gone, no references to my previous IVA and my credit score is excellent on all 3 CR agencies?
Looks like Vodafone don't like me [:o)]

I would ask them to explain the problem (although they are not obliged to ... only to tell you which agency they used). Have you got a Notice of Correction on any of the files ?

No, no notice of correction on any CR. My account information is squeaky clean. I went with Vodafone as I get a 20% discount with their advantage scheme, of which my employer is signed up to.
No matter, I will have a go at another supplier or 2.

Interestingly Paul Weller got turned down by vodaphone recently [:D]( I follow his wife on twitter) and I am sure he has no credit issues!
