Mrs Skint, you're lucky, I don't get a card for birthday/anniversary/valentines and never have. Mind you I don't buy him one either.

It is my 10th wedding anniversary in April and Mrs Size is dropping SERIOUS hints re trips etc.

Anyone got any ideas, not so much cost as something that she will like, romantic stuff etc?

Typical bloke I know, but any tips will be gratefully received.

Thanks.

I usually forget but this year i was good. I even get a card every year on the date we got together. Sweet really.
Dont know how he has put up with us. Hes the butt of every joke in our house and my daughter thinks hes there JUST for her to aggravate.
Still he always takes it in good fun.

How about a nice candle lit meal, just the 2 of you. A nice bottle of wine, a bath with candles round and some fresh rose petals on top of the bed.

April 18th.

I have been working feverishly on my sister in law to have the kids for a weekend, which I think she will, but any advice you can all give me to make it extra special for my lovely lady (she is the most special woman in the world and I don't let her know how much she means to me anywhere near as much as I should, again typical bloke) would be much appreciated.

a mystery trip.Lots of 'clues' on the way.Pack a picnic and flowers.Lotsof envelopes and clues to keep the day going.Run bubble bath(put petals in bath and rest on the bed AND offer to clean bathroom another time.Mr muscle will kill the moment if used prematurly) at the end of the day, chill the wine, order takeaway (keep the telly off you know how it distracts you!!!)You don't need any other instructions do you Size 5? Hopefully you can manage the rest :-)

Size 5 your post above brought tears to my eyes, what a wonderful thing to type, now tell her exactly that.

My husband and I not talking at the minute and it's breaking my heart, wish he thought of me in the way you do your wife. Whatever you decide hope you have a fantastic time x
