HI everyone, had the morning off the other day and popped into a friends for coffee. She has two pre-school age kids and they were watching the telly which began a conversation between us on how much kids programs have changed or is it us getting old!?
We discussed the ones we remember and the usual suspects came up Rainbow,Jamie and the Magic Torch, then i asked her if she remembered Pipkins,Chorlton and the Wheelies-she didn't! I'm only a few years older than her! does anyone else have any favs they remember?I also loved Rentaghost and on a Saturday morn Champion the Wonder Horse!![:I][:I]

My saturday morning favourite, and I was VERY young when I watched it was Casey Jones, at the throttle of the Cannonball Express.
Later on, Mr Benn, The Wombles, Dogtanian and The 3 Muskehounds and lastly, though not strictly for kids but very funny and a fore-runner to the Simpsons, was Wait Til Your Father Gets Home.

I also used to be scared of Bagpuss when i was VERY young when he changed from black/white to colour when he woke up! A word of warning NEVER give the other half information like this, as it amounts to ammunition!!

Myself and mr skint spent an evening on youtube watching all the old kids programms we used to like. We had a blast it was great fun. Thought we would need an ambulance for mr skint when we stumbled across a banned episode of rainbow.

Baby skint likes the videos of the muppets....Animal in particular. He watched them over and over and just kept laughing. And we found a video of Tickle me Elmo having his head exploded......Thats his favourite LOL
