Ahh ... that's really thoughtful Chris ... thank you
I shall working writing services this morning ... and having a good snooze this afternoon ... before our McDonalds mother's day meal this evening!
Could you all send some thoughts out to my daughter Sarah who is spending her very first Mother's Day in A & E (because there are no beds on the ward in our local hospital!) with another bout of her diabetic ketoacidosis ... we have my Granddaughter Maddison (7 months) here with us but Sarah will miss her first mother's day [:(]

I hope Sarah's soon on the mend x
I sent some flowers to my mum (when I finally found a website that took Visa Electron - my first problems with it!) and I also bought her some chocolate and a pink hippo with Best Mum on it's paw.

I don't usually send flowers (too expensive on Mothers' Day!) but my mum is so down at the moment that I wanted to do something to cheer her up.

flowers are great, anytime of the year. I love them, even a cheap bunch of BOGOF daffs from Asda have brightened my day up. They just make me feel happy, is that strange[:I] especially when i've got 2 for 1!!!

Thanks everyone for your good wishes ... Sarah is down off her drips now so she should be discharged tomorrow with any luck and we will have a belated "Mother's Day" celebration for her tomorrow. I've printed off your good wishes for her.

Glad to hear sarah is on the mend. I dont know about mothers day I have never worked harder. Grandchildren overnight, to let their mum and dad have a night out. My youngest came as well with her boyfriend and stayed, breakfast was bedlam, returned the kids home at lunch time then other son came with children and girlfriend and I cooked dinner for them. Something went wrong somewhere me thinks.
Lovely though really lots of flowers and things, but I am so glad to come and sit down now all has gone quiet,
Hope all the mums had a good day.
