Which I know they have to do, but is there a time frame to which they have to stick to? I am getting calls from 7am - 11.30pm everyday (always HFC who I am late paying £40 to). [V]

Personally I did not answer the phone before 9am or after 7om - family and friends would ring twice then stop, then ring again straight away so you knew it was them!

Tell the creditors your'e in an IVA or in the process and therefore all communication will be dealt with via your IP.

I have a detailed file and guidelines on this subject in the office, but as I am at home I won't post specifically on this now. I will try and post some pertinent points from the horses mouth (OFT ) as it were when I have some time tomorrow.

Bottom line though is that there is a limit which shouldn't be exceeded.

Regards.

I have told all of them that I am in a process of an IVA I just figured the may be some guidelines so I didn't get woken up at night :)

I am sure they should not be calling you either that early or that late.

Ours always started just after 8 in the morning and we never had anything after 9 at night.

HFC are a pain - they keep calling my daughter to try and get her to take out a loan. I usually give them sort shrift if I speak to them.
