Hallo everyone

I had my IVA approved in June last year and I've only just discovered this website !

I have my first annual review next Thursday 17th and I'm absolutely scared stiff ! As I am a self-employed secretary my supervisor wants me to provide all bank statements, invoices to clients and a full expenditure/income analysis. I've managed to complete 9mths so far going through my bank statements detailing all the transactions !

The reason I'm absolutely scared stiff is that I have been paying my mother back as she very kindly bought me a new mattress for my bed from M&S. The other one was 10yrs old and as I suffer from bad backache the mattress needed replacing. I paid her back in full over so many months but it was paid directly to her M&S charge card and these payments will obviously show on my bank statements.

I'm going to explain all this to my supervisor. However, I couldn't obvioulsy use a credit card - there were destroyed and the accounts closed, so what else was I to do ?

Will my supervisor want to see the receipt, which I don't have anyway as it's now 11 months ago ?

Hope someone can allay my fears ?

How much was the mattress and how much were the monthly payments? Assuming that neither are very material, I am sure your Supervisor will not be that interested to be honest.

Hi
You have been honest and upfront, you will have no problem.Just state that you have made thses repayments from money that you have saved from your expenditure allowance.
Not many people get through the five years with no problems etc
