Hi
If I take out an IVA,Does this effect my chances of applying to be a prison officer, as somebody who has declared themselves bancrupt cannot apply.

Hey peter, welcome to the forum. I can't answer your question but am interested in the answer as my friend is a prison officer and is thinking of an IVA. Please wait for the experts to advise you. X

I have several prison officers as clients, and they have not been affected by their IVAs, but I gather than bankruptcy would prevent you from applying.
