Can a couple of old debts be added to the iva even after it has been set up and has been going for sometime

How come they were not added when you first set up the IVA? just out of interest?

Hey Paul, i think if they are debts from before your IVA, you need to tell your IP as soon as possible so that they can add them to your IVA. It may mean the creditors getting a lower dividend or if they are small, it probably won't cause too many problems. Please wait for an expert to advise you. X

If they are creditors who were entitled to vote at the creditors meeting, but who were not included due to genuine mistake, then they can be included - but you amy face having to make longer payments to ensure that the original dividend is achieved.
