Well hopefully i will get it and then can think about starting the process of another proposal...[:D]
If its my lucky day how soon would i be able to propose another IVA? The last one got ripped up as i was made redundant a week before my meeting

First of all, good luck with the interview.
Creditors want to see stability of employment, so typically you would need at least 3 months or 13 weeks wage slips before you could re-propose.

I would want to see you out of your probation period if I were acting - which is usually three months as Size has suggested above.

Thankyou, at least thats give me an idea. Would small token payments be an option until that point or a slightly more formal DMP?

Your shout on that really. If you don't get the job then token payments may be all you can afford anyway. If you do get the job then a DMP can take your wages as they are without 3 months proof. That may be a decent way forward as it would help bring the balances down, albeit slowly, in the interim and as a budgeting exercise could prove to be invaluable. It could also react quickly with lower payments if the job did not work out for any reason.

Thanks Mike
If i dont get a job very soon then i will not be able to afford even token payments. I hopefully have other interviews lined up-so fingers crossed.
Just out of interest none fee paying company or fee paying? Apart from the obvious of paying a company fees-whats the difference?

Another point...the job i was just made redundant in-i was there less than 3 months, so how was it my meeting was set up? likewise my partner had only been in her job 6 weeks.

Thankyou debtmountain.
Had the interview this afternoon. Think it went well but will find out next week. The good thing is the job i went for was lower paid until he found i had another qualification for another job what he was after which pays £9.00 p/h...not pop star wages but is better than what i applied for by about £60 a week

Have to be careful what I say here as we arrange DMP's as well as IVA's so I can't promote, as it were, so the answer to fee paying or non-fee paying is really one only you can take.
All DMP's incur costs, it is just a question of who pays the costs. For a fee paying organisation it is the client, for organisations like CCCS and the like it is the creditors. You will read many bad things on here about the CCCS and how "he who pays the piper calls the tune", as well as CCCS guidelines etc, but you will also read many good things as well.
Similarly, you will get tales of woe re fee payers and hearty recommendations also. All I will say on this is that if you do go fee paying then, at the very least, make sure you pick an organisation that will not charge you any extra for switching from a DMP to IVA if and when the time comes. Preferably, you should look for one that will refund the first payment on a DMP, which is typically kept to cover start up costs, into the IVA to kick start the IVA process.
As for the previous job situation, I will review that as soon as I can internally.
Regards.
