Feeling a bit weird today.
I was declared bankrupt yesterday following a petition by HMRC. I am waiting by the phone to hear from the OR. How long does it take from the court hearing until the OR calls you?
Do I stay in waiting or go out and get some fresh air. I am not even sure that they have my phone number. Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
Now totally stuffed!!!

Hi Viki,
The answer to your wuestion is that I don't know. We were advised by our solicitor that we don't need to attend. It all seems very odd. We have not heard anything from anyone and are waiting for a call from the OR.
I don't know how long the whole process will take or what to do next, which is why I am asking the question.

The OR will get round to ringing you in a couple of days - and you certainly do not need to wait in for the call. They are probably waiting for the papers to be sent them from Court.
