I'd be interested to know if these ambulance chasers are explaining thar BR regulations have now been tightened.

I do not think that any of these companies should be cold calling, doesn't matter where in the UK they are.

Skippy - I bet they don't explain that things have changed - it's not in their interests is it?

Exactly - their only interest is making money for themselves, regardless if it's in the person's interest or not.

The only time I've been cold called regarding debts I kept the idiot on the phone for half an hour, asking questions and querying what he told me - if they want to waste my time I'm more than capable of wasting theirs!

I've never been cold called thankfully - mine has always been via Royal Mail and I'm afraid it was recycled!

I only had a couple of those and I phoned up and asked them to remove me from their mailing list, and surprisingly I was. It just shows how little they know about a person's situation - they suggested I might be able to remortgage my house. I didn't own a house!
