for this little boy's family:

https://www.facebook.com/CadenBeggan?fref=ts

Caden who was a happy healthy 6 year old boy 4 weeks ago, suddenly contracted meningococcal septicaemia and despite a desperate fight involving losing both his legs and arm, sadly passed away in his parents arms on Tuesday, as an ex ICU nurse who has nursed many children with this horrendous infection and seen first hand the devastation this causes, my heart goes out to his family right now. this little boy looks remarkably like my own little boy so has struck a chord with me even though I do not know them personally.

Many times during my IVA I have been very self absorbed in my own worries about money, debt etc, but this has totally brought it home to me today of what truly matters in this world, appreciating each other, loving our families and making the most of each day.

I just wanted to share this with everyone and hope that when any of you are feeling desperately down, we can remind ourselves of just how fortunate we are

That's very sad Lem and it certainly puts things into perspective.
