Hi Guys

Me and my OH have been in a IVA since last July, and its going well, tody my OH recived a letter from a debt collecting agency wanting £125 from a debt he had 15 years ago!!

What can we do???

The statute of limitations act means that if it has been more than six years since last payment the debt is unenforceable

I've had the pleasure of writing a couple of letters mentioning the limitations act. It's amazing how quickly the debt collecting agencies go quiet ;o)
