Hi,
I took out an IVA in 2006 and recently I sold my house and the proceeds have been sent in to pay out of my IVA. This has already been agreed by my creditors. Whilst in the IVA I had to sell my car to help make ends meet. I would really like to buy a car but my credit score is 229 and very poor and obviously I cant get credit or finance. I know it will sometime before my credit rating will start to improve when all my creditors have been paid off. Is there any company out there who would be able to help me out with a car ??

Was there no provision in your IVA to keep back some money for relocation etc? If the whole of the equity went into the IVA pot it seems a bit harsh to me, but obviously I don't know all the background.

Are you still paying into the IVA? If so, is your supervisor able to let you have payment break for a couple of months so you can at least get a cheap car? Frankly I dont know anyone who will lend you the money for what you want, other than at rather scary interest rates.
