I have received this morning a DEFAULT NOTICE SERVED UNDER SECTION 87 OF THE CONSUMER ACT 1974.. i've tried to call them but office closed at 1pm.
what does this mean?? I speak to these people more than I speak to my sister.. they call me 2 - 3 times aweek.. i'm getting really fed up now.. and worried. they don't seem to grasp the IVA situation over the telephone

Hi Angela,
If your IVA is in place and GE capital is included on your IVA, I would pass it onto your IP and dont worry about it or even ring them.
If you have not had any defaults before your IVA you will now, but it is just a procedure

I think we got one of those when we filed br, I think it's just a formality they have to go through.
Melanie will no doubt be along after the footy to tell you what it is,

Yeah you will initially default & creditors will give you grief... just direct them to your IP, sit back have a brew & smile to yourself knowing that its getting sorted!

Hi
It is part of the IVA process for many people, the default will be on your credit file for six tears same as the IVA.
The letter is designed to scare you into paying[if you could].Just pass it onto your IP

When the six years is up, do you have to declare that you have previously had a CCJ/Default/IVA? Not that I want credit EVER again, just thinking about mortgage.
