I am considering an IVA...part of my debt (about £6,000) is owed to the Student Loans Company...does anyone know:

1. Should I include this debt into the IVA? I am not currently earning enough to have to pay it off, and the Interest Rate is fairly low.

2. Are they likely to accept the proposal?

I'm not sure if you can include student loans in an IVA, know you can't include them in bankruptcy....

I completely forgot mine when I applied for my IVA, I was accepted and my IP took my salary after student loan so I am paying back my student loan in full but only 26p in the £1 to creditors, seems a little unfair@ Ah well!

Hi
Yes include it in your list of creditors.
The student loan company will probably reject but will be bound if you get 75% acceptance[pro rata to debt owed]
