We have already changed our bank accounts from Barclays who will become one of our creditors. My question is - will Barclays link the fact that my elder daughter (aged 20) has a student account still at Barclays as she is down as the same address as us. I am sure she will not want to change but I don't want any last minute surprises.
If you don't pick this question up here I will phone Tina tomorrow.

Your daughter's account at Barclays will be safe as she will not be deemed to be associted with you for credit purposes.

hi
this is something similar to what is playing on my mind.my eldest daughter will be starting uni later this year. she banks with the halifax and we now bank with the co op, do you think because we are in a iva she could be declined for a student overdraft?
i hope not cos it is not her fasult we were stupid with money!

Shouldn't make any difference Barb, if it does I think it would be grounds for an appeal. After all, credit checks are supposed to be done on the person not the address.

Thanks for the replies - I was very worried that they would want to freeze her account and take any money she has - which is very little - loan goes in and rent goes out!!!

Barclays only have right of access to your accounts and not anybody else that is associated at the address, your daughters account is safe as is her credit profile.
