I am currently in a Debt management Plan but my husband has just been made redunant we now do not have the money to pay our debt managment plan or enough to live on? How can I avoid going bankrupt until he finds another job, also I'm confused about what would be the best for me a DMP or an IVA

Hi vickiiow and welcome to the forum

I suggest that you write to all of your creditors and advise them of your husband's redundancy and that you will not be able to pay them until he finds alternative employment. Hopefully that will not take too long.

An IVA will not be an option for you until he does find work, at which time it would be beneficial for you to take advice from an insolvency practitioner as to all of your options.
