How easy is it to get a joint mortgage whilst having and IVA?
Tricky I'd imagine. My IP agred that we could go that route, so long as the mortgage payments weren't greater than the rent agreed in the IVA. Trouble is, finding a lender, especially now when so many mortgage products have been removed from the market. Generally, you'd need a substantial deposit and need the transaction costs covered, none of which is cheap. Not impossible though, so if you want it enough, explore the options and see what kind of response you get.
