Hey c94, welcome to the forum. I don't know whether he can help but you could try Andrew Graveson from Brightoak. You can get his details from the "meet the experts" page. Good luck. Viki X

My husbands IVA is now completed, next year we will be needing to re mortgage we have a good rate at the moment but am concerned how much we will be paying next year. I know that it is a while away but we want to plan for the future. If we were to stay with our present lender would they do a credit check. All the defaults have been marked as satisfied

Pre-IVA, we contacted our current lender who advised as long as we were up to date with their payments, the dont do credit checks etc. This enquiry was also to do with the fact that our original mortgage was self cert. However I didnt mention we may be going into an IVA.

We've since gone into an IVA and I am aware our IP wrote to the lender to advise them of the situation, so god knows what will happen when our fixed rate is up in Jan 09.

Good luck with your search, I will be interested to know how you get on and will follow this thread.

Kind Regards

Thankyou for your post flowerpot, as they say we will have to wait and see. Trouble is waiting and patience isn't my strong point.
