Hello

I was in an iva with Clearstart for about a year, then i got made redundant. I was told by them that i could have a payment holiday of 3 months. Two months later i was told that i need to make a payment soon as i am two months in arrears. They have sent no post but recently i had a letter saying that i had defaulted my IVA and they will contact my creditors to see what they want to do. I really dont want to go bankrupt!! What can i do next. I am able to make payments to them again, but dont know what to do?? Please help

Hi laura and welcome to the forum

I suggest that you speak to your IP directly to see if you can salvage the IVA and make good the arrears over time.

hi laura and welcome!

i would contact your ip and discuss the situation with them, if you can start to make payments again and make up the shortfall i would imagine you would be able to carry on with the iva.

i am however not a expert but hopefully there will be one along to advise you!

try not to worry i am sure there will be a way to get this sorted
