[:(]
Having a down day ..
The post arrived ..
1) Insolvency service letter - got a letter from the OR saying that my house falls under Section 283A1) of the Insolenvy Act 1986 - yeah ok I expected that - it means they will be taking my house .. expected it but made me feel a bit low.
2) Letter from the Toon Council - as I am classed as adequately housed I will remain in the No Reasonable Prefernce Group once I have a date to leave the property I should report to the Town House as homeless .. I had written to them, giving details of the BR and asked them to put me on the next list up - ie I will lose my house in the next 12 months .
3) Letter from RBS Draft notice served under Sections 87(1) of the consumer credit act of 1974 .. big blurb saying cough up £23k by the end of August .. or else. .. ha ha ha ..sob .. phoned them and got a load of crap .. told them that I was BR, had already notified the local branch, they had a photocopy of my BR order, and that my accounts were frozen by the OR already .. was told that they dont know anything about it and that if I dont cough up they will take me to court !
4) Got a letter from the COOP saying that my current account has been closed as I am BR ! Eh ? This was the account that the COOP had agreed that I could have even after I told them I was BR and that the OR had agreed to it .. Phoned them up and had a good chat .. am now allowed to keep my current account for 1 month and was advised to open a Cashminder account.. but my d/d's have all been stopped.
5) Phone call from auction house advising me that my motorbike which had been taken by the OR has now been sold and raised £720 .. sob.

b***** .. I havent been this low for a while...Ive been on holiday for 2 weeks to chill out after the BR and relax.. not so relaxed now.

Got my pushbike out .. flat tyre ! Fixed tyre ... brake cable snapped .. the God's are smiling on me to-day ..

Hey ho .. who needs brakes .. its all downhill to town .. yeeeehah

a) popped in to the COOP explained and showed them my passport, utility bill, police id, letter from head office, and they have started acton to sort out a Cashminder account and a savings account, thought I would get a savings account with them as it should be easier to transfer money from one account to the other. .. they didnt have any forms left but took detils and will get it rolling for me.

Awww .. well thats good but I now have to sort out all my d/d's again., get my pay section to put the money in the new account .. again, get tax credit and child benefit people to change the accounts again..

Popped into the local RBS and asked them to shout at their debt collection people ... the local branch said that their computer accounts DO show that I am BR .. they phoned their Debt collection people .. the lass in the branch was red in the face with anger during the call.. faxed a copy of my BR order to them ... and raised an offical complaint about them, she too had a load of poo off them!

Started cycling home ... flat tyre .. the other one ! ! Now I know why they are called push bikes ! Hey ho ... these puncture reapir kits are great value.

So no questions and dont expect any answers but just a low day .

frak it Im going to have a whisky

All you can do is keep smiling in the face of adversity! So much in life is out of our hands for one reason or another.

And dont forget you have to keep the Blue and White flag flying!!

awww Mish

What a bitch of a day, it all feels uphill on some days but at least you got to go downhill for a while.

You always make me laugh, even if you do feel crap, maybe it will all look a little better through the bottom of a whiskey glass.

I cant really think of anything to cheer you up, well maybe.... you will probably want to kill me for this... did you hear about the insomniac, dyslexic debt collector?? He lay awake all night wondering if there is a DOG.

Remember the debtors motto. Be optimistic! If you see a big pile of horse manure dive in and have a good root around. There's bound to be a pony in there somewhere.
