So I got home last night and hubby said that earlier on the phone had rung and he'd picked up to an automated message. Please can I phone one of my creditors urgently on such and such number? Hubby didn't write down the number, so I phoned them on the usual number. They have absolutely no idea what the message was about. There's no record of anyone calling me and don't leave automated messages.
Very confused.

I wouldn't worry about it too much Johnz. You know what communication is like in these big places. I have had this before,

Hi Johnz,
I wouldn't stress too much about the call, you have done the right thing by calling the creditor directly. I have heard of some mortgage companies using these automated messages but no lenders. Very Interesting.

Same thing happened to my hubby. It was a company who had bought one of his debts.
