I am currently in contact with a debt management company who have handed my case over to an IP - I am yet to complete the paper work and return to them so all is still pending. In the meanwhile my creditors are hounding me - what is the best course of action???

Hi
Make a decision and commit.
Once you decide to go down the IVA route you can inform your creditors and ask them to direct all calls and letters to your IP.Not all will stop "hounding" you but some will and you will be on your way to a brighter future.

I would agree with Neverending. If you are comfortable and confident that an IVA is the best route for you complete the relevant paperwork and supply the supporting documents and then you will be able to refer your creditors to your IP.
If you are concerned that an IVA is not the best course of action for you why not contact some other companies to ask for their advice on the matter.
Best Regards
