Hi Lessie,
To be honest I am not certain whether an IVA would affect your application for citizenship or not.
You and your husband would not be classed as “undischarged bankrupts” as you were never placed on the bankruptcy register to be discharged.
However if a credit check is part of the procedure then your IVA will definitely appear. If the application doesn't specifically asks whether you have entered a voluntary arrangement I wouldn't worry until you know more information.
I would suggest that you speak with you I.P regarding your concerns, or even better you could directly speak to the home office.
Good Luck
Hope this information is of use

Hi Lessie
An IVA will not affect your application for UK citizenship. Good luck with that and with solving your debt problems.

Hello Lessie, I came across this site that may be able to answer some of the questions you have about citizenship and IVAs.
http://www.debtquestions.co.uk/debt_for ... p?f=11&sic
Please keep us updated as someone else coming here to this forum may be going through the samething and may learn some information from you.
Good luck!
