Hi, I started an IVA in early 2007 and had a F&F accepted 5 months ago. The IVA is not even mentioned on my credit report but a couple of my old debts are. I am a little confused to say the least! can anyboy explain? thanks

Hey benwar, welcome to the forum. Congratulations on completing your IVA. Your credit report will be shot for 6 years from the date of your creditors meeting. To be honest, I'm not sure what it actually shows up as. Please hang in there and someone who know a bit more will help you. X

Thanks Viki. Under the section with bankruptcy & IVA it has nothing at all, maybe i've been lucky and should keep quiet about it! I did hear somewhere that the IVA stays on your file for a year from when you have settled the balance. Not that i want to get into my old wicked ways of borrowing again! (yet)

It is 6 years from your creditors meeting regardless of whether you pay it early or not. I know what you mean, I never EVER want to borrow again! X

Unusual, have you checked the insolvency register and the other agencies?
You will still have to wait the 6 years for the defaults to drop off, were the defaults registered pre iva creditors meeting or afterwards?
