We have a new addition to the family. Riley is a 4 month old tabby
completely feral boy who is severely traumatised. He is currently part of a serious RSPCA prosecution case - the minute I get clearance, his adoption will be official. All I'll say about his background is that if I had caught up with the b*stards instead of the RSPCA I'd be in jail for a very long time.

Riley is hissy, spitty, growly and generally unpleasant to humans and I must have rocks in my head. He reminds me *SO* much of my feral girl Pandora when she arrived at about the same age. He is the official number 6. [:D] I fell in love the minute I clapped eyes on him - it's something about the ferals that tug at my heart strings, and this boy is awesome. He's only bitten me twice so far!!

Just had to share. [:)]

Oh RC, that's awful, I dread to think. Some people are evil. Glad you've got him, he's going to have a great life now and a loving home. Well done to you and give him a stroke (if you can get near) from me. X

I took in two little kittens that had been thrown into a meat bin, it was infested with maggots, they were 5 weeks old. They were smelly and dehydrated and covered in fleas. They hissed at my son and growl at him but they are fine with me now. They climb onto my bed and even purr. I dont think the swine that did this to them will ever be caught, if only there had been cameras at the back of the shops..... When I think of what might have happened if the bin emptiers hadnt spotted them, it makes me cry.

I do hope Riley settles down soon and comes to know that humans can be loving and giving.
