my daughter and hubby are just about to finish a 2 year debt repayment plan...this was caused by her supporting him through the last two years of his university and the travelling involved to see each other as they lived 100 miles apart etc

the total debt was only 4500.00 and they pay the last payment in two months time...this was done through CAP..(cnristians against poverty)

they are in rented accomodation at present but would ideally like to buy...they have a joint income about 45,000....is there a mortgage company who would be interested in lending to them as their credit record will not be good.....

they are hoping to buy through the government CATALYST OPEN MARKET scheme...

probably not till next year anyway but thought i would find out if anyone knows a mortgage provider or someone they can talk to??

thanks

Yes TOL, Andrew Graveson from www.brightoak comes highly recommended. Mrs Skint used them so she may see you post later. X

I believe he's on holiday at the moment but I'm sure someone else can help. X

WOW...THIS COMPANY IS GOOD...MY DAUGHTER EMAILED THEM AT 3.47...AND HAD A CALL BACK IN 8 MINUTES...TO SAY THAT ANDREW GRAVESON WAS ON HOLIDAY AND WOULD BE BACK TUESDAY AND HAS ARRANGED A TIME TO CALL HER...

excellent service...will keep my fingers crossed they are able to buy at some point..it alwys seems such a shame for them to be paying so much money each month for someone elses property.....

You will get nothing but honest and proffessional service from Andrew.
He will search the whole of the market and if theres a deal to be had, he will get it.

I agree with the recommendation of Andrew. He is a first class mortgage broker - he even did my own for me!
