Hi
I have a well known clothes catalogue, who where one of my creditors is my recently approved iva.
Can I still order and use the catalogue or not ?

Not on credit terms without the approval of your IP - and I would be surprised if the would allow this in any case.

Caraf, I would think the catalogue would not let you order and have closed your account if they are included in your iva
I have a catalogue, which I very rarely use, this has no credit terms I pay when I order and then they send the goods. Have not used this since my iva was approved though as not needed anything new.

Hi Caraf

"Next" were one of my creditors (even though I only had a very small balance with them and didn't want then to be, but of course you have to treat all your creditors the same). The clothes that I don't buy from the charity shop I buy from Next so this was quite a blow!! My daughter now has a "Next" catalogue and I order via her and pay upfront [:)]

I buy a lot of my clothes from the Army and Navy Stores.
Mind you, it's not much fun going to work dressed as a Japanese admiral.

Two of my creditors were clothes catalogues.I know I can't get credit and wouls have to pay immediately on ordering, but would they stop me from ordering again? I've not tried since the IVA but would proberbly use the catalogues again if i could?? Cat1

Hi
If you paid over the phone on a debit card then I would think that you could order from them again.

I tend to mooch all the time when shopping and buy in the sales. I had catalogues, the trouble is they can quickly escalate and the more you buy they just keep putting up the credit limits.

thanks Andy and Ang...I mouch around too for my clothes.I tend to have quite alot of them (but never very expensive)I had to have certain catalogue for 'big girls' as there's not loads of choice if you want to look near decent when you're not a size um 12, 14,onwards and upwards...
I've just sold 2 items on ebay and made £7.50.Minutes later I bought a top for £4.99 so this may not be so good for me .Cat[:I]
