Just a little rant.. I officially gave up smoking today and am wearing patches. I decided since this ban came into force and working out how much its actually costing me now was the time to do it!!!! Im doing ok so far.. although I feel something is missing and am afraid I will turn to food! Lost 2 stone recently so don't want the weight to pile back on so am stuffing my face with grapes!!!! x

Thanks Zoe. Need every bit of support I can get. This lunchtime was hard after eating my sandwich! Ooooo I didn't know grapes had lots of sugar in them. Carrot sticks from now on then! x

Be wary of all fruit if dieting. Did you know that eating a piece of fruit after your main meal as a dessert is as bad for you as having something sweet. all of the sugars in the fruit get stored straight away... Just thought I'd let you know.

Okay so in a nutshell.....

We cant smoke anywhere anymore!!! (I don't anyway but showing solidarity with my sisters-in-debt)

We can't spend any money on non-essential items like Sky or horses ...

We can't eat fruit because its bad for you!!

Sod it. I'm off to the pub for a pint of apples - Strongbow. I need the sugar rush. Then I'm coming back to my bottle of Dettol where I live to watch Big Brother. Seeing the muppets on there ( in particular Charley ) makes me glad I'm me.

I am trying to quit smoking also, well I do everyday from around 10 until 6 the following day, dont smoke in the main house though and do go outside most of the time, what happened to global warming??? Its freezing out there and sooo windy, my fag has gone within a few seconds. I am thinking about taking that drug that stops you wanting one, I never really smoked at work so not too bad but now its creeping up a bit.

about the grapes, my sis who is diabetic took grapes to work and was on a diet and she kept on gaining the only thing it could be was the grapes so she has eased off and is losing again.

Big brother, hmmm charley --no like but she does provide the entertainment. (I think they are all fame wannabes and I struggle to understand wanting to be recognised everywhere, what a nightmare that would be)

I only smoke when out but thats getting to be none excistant.
As for ziggy hes a real player shame chenelle never went her voice is driving me mad.

grapes i am afraid are a no no, hubby diabetic told he could have 5 a day whats the point of having 5!! you want to eat them all lol,
sometimes my first fag is 6 o'clock i go all day and everyone laughs as they say i really don't need them, but haherm i think sometimes i do, well good luck to all those trying to give up,well now big brother, why do they do it yes for fame, but making a show of themselves first well they will all make on it , not for me, but still watch it!
as lily said were's the global warming its bbbbbbbb freezing here well you can't win them all.
