Done the DMP for three months as I got confused with the whole issue of IVA along with the hype. I have been visiting this site and finally made up my mind with a great IVA company. All the paper work is now done, signed. Proposal will go soon.
One poster on this site mentioned his problems with DMP as lenders were still chasing him for more ££ after two years, this gave me the courage to go for a complete solution and don't want no nasty surprises in the future... and I don't ever want to switch to a IVA once been on a DMP for a too long a period. That would snd me over the edge.
As a newbie on this site, it is really hard to know what Creditors want, they all think differently and some think you should be on DMP even if you are paying the same as an IVA.
I said to myself if it doesn't get approved I'll stick to the DMP and keep the OT payments and other 'windfalls' and go on holiday too.
Organising the DMP was stressful than taking Univ exams or job interview.
