I would recommend that you contact 2-3 companies from this site to discuss your personal circumstances further or alternatively post a little more about your debts so we can advise, i.e.
How much unsecured debt?
Who is the money owed to?
How much disposable income (total income less living costs)?
Best Regards

Hi Paul and welcome to the forum
When you know your total amount of debt please post if you dont mind the following info and then everyone can advise on possible solutions for you.
amount of debt
income
what is left after living costs (dont iclude the debts) this will give your disposable income.
number of creditors and who they are
if you own property and if so how much equity you have in it.
If you dont mind giving that info it will be much easier to advise, also I note your property is being repossed / any charging orders etc on it.
Try not to worry paul there is always a solution. Please ask anything you would like to know.

Hi paul and welcome,
My advise is to contact a few companies and get as much information as possible.
Meanwhile, can you provide us with some more information?
Regards,
Michelle P.

Thanks for assistance to all
As mentioned earlier, i am currently awaiting details from Equifax in regard to debt details etc.
I am currently in divorce proceedings and am not able to contact my partner (she will not acknowledge) - My partner, dealt, in the main, with all households debts with me being unaware of the extent of these until very recently.
I will post further information upon my receipt. however, Equifax seem to be dragging their feet, to say the least, in regard to this.
Thanks for advice.
Regards

You could also request a report through Experian. This can be done online.

Hi
Both can be done on line and you may well need to contact both to get an accurate figure as I,m sure that not all creditors report to both.

Thanks Oliver
Due to scrapping credit/debit cards, I am unable to apply on-line for virtually nothing.
Have contacted Equifax and Experian (but found Equifax more helpfull) however, both have siad they will send appropriate forms, this being 12th July 07, I still waiting for them. Have also tried telephone contact and they just inform that they will resend them. !!!!
