I am in the infancy of starting an IVA, and because Barclaycard are one of my creditors, I have to change my Barclays account. My creditors are:
Cahoot (Abbey National)
Barclaycard (Barclays)
Mint (RBS)
Direct Line (RBS)
Lombard (RBS)
Capital One (Capital One)
Which bank would you recommend me moving to, to be totally out of reach of all these Credit Companies?
Many thanks in advance

Hi,
You can use any other bank apart from one that you own money too, it would have to be a basic account though i hear NAT WEST do a basic account with a card similar to a debit card.

But as Nat West is part of the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) Group, wouldnt getting an account with them be a bad idea?
So confused and anxious its unreal!

Hi Mark
The Halifax do a basic account with a visa electron card which is what I have, I believe the Co-op do a similar account with a solo card. You definately need to have an account with a bank that has no relationship to any of your creditors. So Nat West is a no no

I would recommend the Nationwide Step Account.
