I assume that you mean "If I enter into an IVA ....."

An IVA does not affect you taking on a private property rental, but your landlord may have different views on that. Be prepared to be credit checked and refused, if the landlord has prejudices towards insolvent tenants, or pay a substantial rental deposit by way of surety.

Good advice from Melanie.

Some tenants and lettings agents will require prospective tenants to be credit scored. However, an explanation as to why your credit score is low or a large deposit should resolve any difficulties.
