For debts of £36000 with 8 creditors what is an approximate charge I can expect to pay to an IP? Thanks

That will depend upon the actual IP you choose, but expect to pay between £6,000 and £8,000. These fees are actually borne by the creditors themselves, as they are drawn down out of the contributions you pay over, before the monies are distributed.
