I am in the process of having an IVA set up and the draft proposal is due to be drafted in the next couple of weeks. They have not asked for statements from my new bank account and i have now found out i am getting a £ 1600 bonus from work. Do i have to tell the IVA company about this?

Hello Chris
It is very important that you tell your IP about this payment so you can discuss this further. It is likely that your IP will find out about this payment from your payslips or p60 anyway.
Best Regards

Hi chris p
Yes you should tell your IP about the bonus payment. It would make sense to include 50% of this into the IVA as an initial lump sum, and retain the balance in a savings account for a rainy day.
