wOULD i BE ALLLOWED TO MISS A PAYMENT FOR 1 MONTH AS I HAVE MORE TO PAY OUT ON MY mot A ND CAR INSURANCE

You would need to discuss this with your IP but as far as I can see, as long as you haven't missed previous payment or are in arrears I can;t see it being a problem, however you would need to check with your IP as every IVA is different.

Is this just due to the MOT or has your car insurance increased? Either way, you need to discuss it with your IP as it may be that you have to reduce your payments to the IVA to be able to afford your car insurance.

You will need to discuss this directly with your Supervisor, but it seems a reasonable request to me. Do you not have provision for this expenditure within your IVA proposal. If so, you should be putting this money aside each month to ensure that you can pay for these expenses. Your Supervisor is likely to want you to make up the arrears over the next few months.
