Our proposal was sent to all creditors over a week ago. Our date is 7th March. How come all the companies that are ringing us are saying they have had no information about an IVA at all?
Its very worrying.

Because they don't deal with their mail in a timely fashion, or communicate within departments.

Hi
Its not unusual, just state that you are in the process of proposing an IVA and ask them to contact your IP and give the name and number, then tell them that you are terminating the conversation.
It will get better.
