Creditors meeting next wednesday, all creditors will be in receipt of proposal even though they say not!!! Ive had to stop answering the calls now as it is causing me stress.

Just really worried now, what happens if proposal is rejected? are all of a sudden all the credit card companies going to pounce on me for large amounts of money? (really worried)

First thing calm down, We on this site have all been through what you are now. IF your IVA is rejected your IP should work on your behalf to amend your proposal or if need be talk to none voters if you have not got 75% in favour. There are also other otions DMP which if your debt isnt huge could be an idea. Or BR i know it sounds drastic but might be better than what ur going through now.
But please stop worrying there is a solution out there.
BE LUCKY.

Don't event think about rejection at this stage! Have faith in the professionalism of your IP - they would not have spent time putting your case forward if they felt there was a chance of it failing!

Good luck.

With all the stress you have been through the last few months, how could you not be worried?. The guys you speak to on the phone are in a different place to the ones your IP will ask to vote. There will be lots of work going on to make this a favourable result for you. So hang in there, think positve thoughts, you havent been thrown back to the crocs yet.

Good luck

I just think along the lines of I am giving my very best offer in my proposal and if they reject it then I will have no option but to go bankrupt and they will get nothing so I reckon we all stand a reasonable chance of acceptance as long as we don't look like we are taking the mickey out of them. Don't worry you are doing your best for all concerned.
