Hi hano

You will need to explain this change in circumstances to the IVA Supervisor, to see if you can continue to make perhaps reduced payments.

Why on earth was your girlfriend's income included? Were there any joint debts? How long had you been in the relationship?

Mel, you asked the question for me, thank you. How could the IP in hanos case use his girlfriend's income as part of his wages? Is this automatically done when people live together? Or did she agree to this because they had joint debts?

This is mind-boggling and scarey if she is not a part of the IVA. Gee, people seeking an IVA could just 'make-up' a girl/boyfriend to get the IVA agreed to by the creditors THEN turn around and say so-and-so left.

I AM NOT saying you did this hanos. Please don't think I am accusing you of any wrong doing. I am truly interested in the outcome. Please post and let us know how it transpires.

I wish you success with your IVA. Gee, first debt issues now a broken heart. You will perservere my friend;and life will get better for you. Good luck.

All I have left is my humour. :)
