Well sent all info off to thomas charles who forwarded all info to melanie and her team ... whilst this was ongoing I sent a contact letter to all our creditors notifying them we were looking into an Iva. Then last week we sent all the ip letters and notified all creditors that melanie was our IP, Welcome finance called me tonight to ask if I was still going ahead with Iva I told them Yes and they said that is fine thankyou for letting us know PHEW!!! i asked did they need anything else and they just said no and to take care of myself ....the lady was lovely!!!!!!, then another Call Blair Oliver and Scott debt collectors called me , explained everything they said no info received... but advised they will put account on hold till Melanie and co get in touch... All I can say is it was a relief that they did not treat me like a piece of dirt ... I would recommend to anyone to always let your creditors know what you are intending you do get treated with a little respect...I haven't paid this month and won't be next month either Paying my final TC fees then hopefully month after my IVA will have gone through fingers crossed...

just thought i would pass this on [:D]

Hi Melanie

In no way was this a rant at all against anyone!!!!, I just thought that this was a nice thing to happen rather than the terrible stories that you hear where creditors treat you badly this was a pleasent experience if you can have one under these circumstances. apologies if I have offended you in anyway at all , I am fully aware of how long this process can take and thought it would be nice to let everyone know creditors can be understanding, I was only posting to let others know that communication with Creditors is the best way that was all.

Sorry

Nicki

Sorry Nicky - you misunderstood my post! I was trying to encourage you to share the hideous tale of that one creditor with the rest of our members - and thought that you might want a little rant!

I was actually really pleased to read your post - it is refreshing to hear creditors being pleasant for a change. Sorry if my words led you to believe I thought you were not happy with the service!!!

Isn't it strange when you re-read something you have written afterwards and think - gosh, I can see how this could have been misconstrued. Either that or we have both had a hard week!!
