Can a person earn money whilst in bankruptcy and if so does it have to be declared?
Hi hdk and welcome to the forum. Yes, you can earn money whilst bankrupt, and yes, it does have to be declared to the Official Receiver. I was made bankrupt last month and I have a job so therefore have to pay a percentage of my surplus income into an IPA - Income Payments Agreement. Any changes in salary have to be notified to the OR within 21 days.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.
