Hi my partner was declared bankrupt just over 2 years ago but unfortunatly (being young,niave & scared) he buried his head in the sand and hasn't paid anything or agreed any kind of payment with anyone. I don't really know where to start and he keeps putting it off I thought if I could find out what we can do the we could get this sorted.

Hi Candy and welcome to the forum. Was your partner made bankrupt by his creditors or did he do it himself? I made myself bankrupt in March this year and within a couple of days I was contacted by the Official Receiver for more information regarding my debts. I will be paying into an IPA (Income Payment Agreement) for 3 years starting in June, and these are the only payments I will make. Was your partner not contacted by the Official Receiver?
