Hi my partner went bankrupt in Nov 2005, he is a self employed sub-contractor. Last April (2006) the OR took all of his Income Tax Repayment. He is now discharged - was discharged on 25th Nov 2006. They never enforced am Attchment of Earnings order or anything like that, he didnt have to repay any m,oney, except they took all of last years income tax repayment (he got for being taxed 18%, etc). Can you confirm that this year - as he is discharged - that he will get all of his Income Tax repayment? as obviously he is concerned that he may not get it for some bizarre reason.

Hi jsw and welcome to the forum

If your partner has been discharged from his bankruptcy, then the tax refund is his to keep.
