I can't open another bank account because I'm £400 in minus with Halifax current account.
As I'm unemployed I can't afford to pay that. People can't even give me a loan because of that.

Hi
You should be able to open a basic bank account, try the Co-op bank or Nationwide.
If you are unemployed you will not be able to take out a loan, how would you repay it ?

As Andy says you should still be able to open a basic account to have your social benefits paid into it. Do this and then talk with the bank you owe money to to make an agreement to either pay an affordable amount or freeze the payments until you are back on your feet.

I tried NatWest, they didn't open it. They said that Halifax has put somekind of notice that you can't do that.
I try others then..will see...
