Can i apply for bankruptcy by myself, without a Insolvency Practitioner or a Financial Advicer. Can i do it all by myself

Yes you can get the forms online but you need to seek professional advice before filing or they wont accept it.
Check all your options first.

Hello Matt,
Also when you first receive the forms they may seem a bit daunting but don't be put off by this, you just need to make sure you have got all the information put down. I did mine by myself, you don't need to pay anyone to do this for you. I also got help from the CAB.

Yes like the others have already stated you can apply for bankruptcy by yourself, however the courts do need to see that you have sought professional advice before hand.
I would suggest that you call a few companies to see what the best option is for you.

You actually do not have to have sought professional advice, there is nothing stopping you going to Court directly. Having said that, the Court will often ask if you have had the benefit of professional advice, and it is always good to state that you have.
