Hi, Everyone
I went bankrupt a while back(just debts in my name) and I am currently not working and my wife is working and supporting me. Does it matter what my wife earns(if her wage goes higher) and would it affect things with my Or even if my personal circumstances had`nt changed(not working still).
Thanks
Neil

No - your wife's income is kept entirely separate from your earnings under bankruptcy legislation.

All I have had to put on the form is how much Dave contributes to the household expenditure, presumably to make sure that I'm not paying more than I should. They don't ask for a breakdown of what he pays, just the amount contributed.

Skippy's right, the OR will want to see that you are not giving your creditors less by overly supporting your wife. Since it is the other way round I dont see that the OR will have a problem.
